The Mimosa B5x is one of the industry’s fastest unlicensed, point-to-point (PTP), backhaul solutions. It’s ideal for short to medium range relay and tower links, custom-engineered co-location, and licensed 4.9 GHz spectrum. The Mimosa NiD is a cost-effective solution for protecting outdoor devices from electrostatic discharge, electromagnetic and surge damage. All Mimosa devices have always had robust ESD protection, so adding the NiD to the installation represents an additional layer of protection to the network. The protective cutout is designed to protect PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) or non-PoE devices, with connection speeds up to 1 Gbps. Two passive, surge-protected RJ-45 CAT6 connections provide maximum compatibility.
