This switch is an indoor variation of the prominent netFiber 9 switch – used by many small and medium ISPs for reliable 10 Gigabit fiber connections stretching over 100 meters. With five 1G SFP ports, four 10G SFP+ ports, and an additional Gigabit Ethernet port, this is the perfect upgrade for existing CRS212 setups. The Gigabit Ethernet port has a direct connection to the switch chip – so you can enjoy full gigabit speed there. And it supports PoE-in, giving you an additional powering option in tricky spots.

You can mount this switch in a standard 1U rack to keep everything organized. And it has all the power you would expect from a rackmount device: CRS310 supports hardware-offloaded VLAN- filtering. And even some hardware offloaded Layer-3 routing.

CRS310-1G-5S-4S+IN is a fantastic tool for anyone working with indoor connections over 100 meters while keeping data loss and ping low. Optical fiber can be a great alternative to copper if you are worried about electromagnetic interference, tampering, or eavesdropping.

The new Cloud Router Switch 317-1G-16S+RM is a rack-mountable manageable switch with Layer3 features, it has 16 SFP+ ports for high performance 10GbE connectivity and a 1GbE copper port for management.

CRS317-1G-16S+RM is powered by a next generation switching chip, giving you wire speed performance for all sixteen 10GbE ports with any Ethernet frame size. CRS328-24P-4S+RM is a 28 independent port switch, it has 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports, which offer different power output options: Passive PoE, low voltage PoE, 802.3af/at (Type 1 “PoE” / Type 2 “PoE+”) with auto-sensing. PoE-Out is passed over mode B pins (4,5+)(7,8-). The four SFP+ ports provide up to 10 Gbps connectivity options via either optical fiber or Ethernet modules (not included).

CRS328-24P-4S+RM comes in a 1U rackmount case with 100-240 V AC 500 W power supply built-in. The device consumes up to 44 W leaving guaranteed 450 W (3x150 W per every 8 Ethernet ports) to power your PoE devices. Each port can provide up to 30 W of power with any power output option you choose.

The device has a “Dual boot” feature that allows you to choose between two operating systems - RouterOS or SwOS. If you prefer to have a simplified operating system with only switch specific features, use SwOS. If you would like the ability to use routing and other Layer 3 features in your CRS, use RouterOS. You can select the desired operating system from RouterOS, from SwOS or from the RouterBOOT loader settings. All the feature set comes with disruptive price, providing best price/performance on the market.

There are four 100 Gigabit QSFP28 ports. Use them to connect other 100 Gigabit devices or grab a breakout cable to connect multiple 25 Gigabit devices: each port is connected to four 25 Gigabit lines, allowing you to connect 16 x 25 Gigabit devices. In fact, you can mix and match all kinds of connections this way: 100 Gigabits on one port, 40 Gigabits on the other, 4x25 Gigabits on the third, and maybe even some 10G or 1G cables on the fourth. Obviously, there is an Ethernet port for management purposes as well.
We’ve been using this switch for quite some time now in the Genomics Data Network project. A high-capacity data network for our local scientists working on ground-breaking cancer treatments. Genome data can take up a lot of space, so you need exceptionally fast connections there. This rugged outdoor switch is perfect for connecting mast devices. Like the mANTBox 52 or the LHG XL 52. Imagine a huge campsite with several guest houses, a food court, and the owner’s cabin.
